How Brisa started

Dr. Marisol Arenas opened Brisa in 2009 with two treatment rooms on Coral Way. She had spent years at a busy clinic in Hialeah where parents waited an hour and then came back on another day for their kids. She wanted one office where a family could be seen together.

Dr. Daniel Okafor joined to take on implants, crowns and root canals, so patients no longer had to be sent elsewhere. Dr. Lucía Ferrer came later as the pediatric dentist. Today the office has three dentists, hygienists, assistants and a front desk that handles insurance questions and schedules in English and Spanish.

Brisa is Spanish for breeze. The office is on the second block of shops on Coral Way, with parking behind the building.

Brisa is a fictional practice built as a concept site by Nolara Studio. The people and details on this page are invented.

How a visit works at Brisa

Four things you can count on, every time.

The whole family in one visit

We book parents and kids back to back, so one trip covers everyone.

The price in writing first

You get a written plan and a cost before any treatment starts. If it changes, we tell you before we go on.

We explain, you decide

Your dentist shows you the X-ray or scan and goes through the options. You choose what to do.

Open when you can come

Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 2 pm. Same-day visits for dental emergencies.

Inside the practice

Warm wood, plants and a lot of window light. The pictures are illustrations made for this concept site.

Ways we help you relax

Dental visits are easier for most patients with a few small comforts. Tell us what helps and we will use it. Your dentist decides which options are right for your visit.

Nitrous oxide

Often called laughing gas. You breathe it through a small mask and feel relaxed, and it wears off within minutes after the mask comes off. Your dentist decides if it suits you and your visit.

Gentle sedation

For longer or more involved treatment, some patients take a sedative by mouth. Your dentist talks it through first, and you need someone to drive you home.

TV on the ceiling

Every treatment room has a screen above the chair. Pick a show and we will put it on.

Headphones and blankets

Bring your own music or use ours, and ask for a warm blanket if the room feels cool.

Breaks when you need them

Raise your hand and we stop. Short breaks are normal, and we will go at your pace.

English, Español and Português

Ask for your visit in the language you are most comfortable in. The front desk speaks English and Spanish.
